Hardwood Floor Restoration
Restoration of hardwoods not only includes interior floors but also encompasses staircases, trim, and outside porch floors. Often, through age and/or neglect, repairs to the structural support have to be made before the restoration process can begin. After 35 years in this business I have done many repairs to hardwood floors such as oak, heart pine, walnut, and maple.
Restoration of staircases involves not only the treads but the balustrade, the newel posts, risers and handrails. This is always a labor intensive procedure and requires a great deal of expertise to bring the staircase back to its original splendor. This is especially true in older homes.
