Hardwood Floor Installation
Rivers Hardwood Floors not only specializes in floor refinishing and restoration in older homes, but has a great deal of experience with the installation and finishing of hardwood floors in newly constructed homes and in room additions in other homes as well. With any installation, in new construction or room additions, we follow the guidelines set out the National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association, Inc. (NOFMA).
With new construction or room additions, we offer the homeowner choices of hardwoods to suit their needs and tastes – such as oak strip and plank, reclaimed longleaf heart pine, walnut, cherry, and maple. We also install custom designs, such as in-laid borders, using many varieties of wood (oak strip, quarter-sawn oak, heart pine, walnut, cherry, and maple).
